At Merit, as a CMI center, we build the next generation of managers and leaders.
Providing premium strategic, management and leadership training programs, workshops, conferences and online courses accredited or recognized by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK.
WHO WE ARE
Our academy was originally founded in the Middle East in 2006 as IMC M.E. by global business strategy and growth consultant Abbas Al-Humaid, who was one of only two individuals qualified to assess “Chartered Manager” (Cmgr) candidates outside the UK.
We also became the only centre in the world certified to teach CMI Level 7 Management and Leadership postgraduate diplomas in a language other than English, helping hundreds more managers and CEOs achieve the ultimate accolade in professional management.
We were the first training organization in the Middle East to be awarded “Recognized Practice” and “Premier Practice” status from the UK Institute of Management Consultancy in 2007, also winning the “Most Outstanding Centre” Award in London in 2009.
The following year we became the first training centre outside the UK to achieve “Chartered Manager Integration (CMI) Centre” status. We were also endorsed in 2010 by the esteemed education institution Durham University for our “high-quality training”.
OUR BRIGHT FUTURE
IMC was re-established in 2021 as Merit Academy. As global leadership roles evolve, we continue to enhance our programs and adapt to demand with worldwide state-of-the-art operations under the Merit Academy brand.
