Our esteemed instructor recently concluded his role as the Chairman of a renowned European investment and private equity firm he co-initiated in 2018. This venture was strategically acquired in 2021 by a prominent US investment bank, marking a significant milestone in Peter's illustrious career. Since stepping down, he seamlessly transitioned into a consulting role, where he empowers management and staff through vital training in strategy implementation and execution.

For years, Peter’s professional focal point has been strategy consulting. He has been an invaluable guide for numerous businesses, aiding them in devising and deploying sustainable strategies amidst the challenging and fiercely competitive business landscapes they navigate. This role naturally demanded and further polished his boardroom expertise, with Peter serving as a mentor and non-executive director for businesses scattered across three continents, thereby offering a truly global perspective.

Peter is an alumnus of Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, where he earned his MBA. Born and raised in Denmark, he has spent substantial years living in Australia, the Middle East, and Asia, contributing significantly to his international outlook and approach in the business realm.

Currently, he is deeply engaged in providing strategic management consulting and training to investment firms in the US, Switzerland, and the European Union, as well as to various banking institutions in the EU. His consulting work is sharply focused on helping investment firms craft and implement robust strategies that keep them agile and competitive, especially considering the proliferation of investment options from online platforms and the rapid advancements in fintech and AI. His strategic toolkit includes the development of balanced and cascading scorecards tailored for various departments.

Peter’s consulting expertise is not limited to the investment sector; his hands-on management and consulting experience extends into various business segments including fintech, e-commerce, manufacturing, and PPPs. This broad experience allows him to bring a unique and valuable perspective when delivering strategic management programs and workshops.

Among his notable investment clients are UBS (Investments) Switzerland, Tenoris Capital Netherlands, Q Bank Investment US, MWC Group Switzerland, and Khazanah Berhad (Malaysia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund). In his current role, Peter also leads as a Project Director for a team comprised of legal and professional consultants. Together, they advise the Omani Ministry of Finance and are instrumental in implementing PPP projects in Oman, beginning with the privatization of Liwa Fishing Harbour. This encompassing role sees him involved in crafting business models, financing models, and in the meticulous process of partner selection. Each endeavor underlines his commitment to fostering growth and strategic development in every project he undertakes.
